The convention in June the Harvest,I know JM is one of the guests. So does any one know if he will also be performing with the guys?
I think that would be cool I haven't heard his music before though but would like 2 check it out.
I did read some where he sang Sunday bloody Sunday at one of his gigs.
Would like 2 hear that one I love that song and i was very impressed when Eric & Adam sang it they where awesome.
Would love any info On JM if he is playing or the name of his band so i can check out his cd.
would love 2 hear from any one who knows, if they don't want 2 post it on the forum they can e.mail me.
Well I have no idea about the Harvest thing, but I can tell you plenty about him and his band! His band is called Ghost of the Robot (www.ghostoftherobot.net) and they are basically straight rock. They are pretty good, but I think they're gonna be better on CD than live :X They have a CD coming out sometime (noone knows when grr) called Mad Brilliant. Their "single" is called Valerie and it's a really good song. I think you can listen to it at their site. I don't know about James doing "Sunday Bloody Sunday." At most of his gigs, he would do Nirvana, Tom Waits, and Bruce Springsteen songs, as well as a few originals. He's done "Come As You Are," "Cadillac Ranch," "Chocolate Jesus," and others. I think that's enough for now lol. Esp since I gave you the website....and when did Adam and Eric do SBS? I would love to hear it....I really want wore CRo live mp3s!!

No.. JM will not be playing in Harvest. This question has already been asked and the organiser has already answered to say that his band will not be there.

GOTR is nothing more than a glorified garage band and isn't even in the same league as Common Rotation.

Hey, that's not necessary. I agree that GOTR is still getting it together, but there's no need to hate and especially no need to repeatedly post the same negative thing.

You don't need 2 put them down
December 9 2002, 10:32 AM
I haven't heard GOTR play before so am not sure if i like them or not.
But I don't think its fair 2 put them down if you don't like them just don't say anything.
If you can't say anything nice maybe you shouldn't say at all.
Anyway you can't make every one like the same thing.& I think the more good bands the better.
You can tell we don't have any over here but we do need some.
Ok am gona stop rambleing now am gone

The Harvest
January 10 2003, 11:57 PM
Sorry to drag it up but i havent been here in a while...maybe Tony and James will sing...maybe,hopefully
Hey Pussy, GOTR won't be playing at the harvest BUT James maybe playing as there is a charity concert and as most peeps know he does love to play lol Nothing has been confirmed as of yet so pop over to www.s3events.co.uk and have a look, it's gonna be a good one
If anyone's interested, GotR's album comes out Feb 2 (there's a release party at the Knitting Factory). So if anyone wants the CD....I think you can probably order it off the site then.
When you say in June I assume you are talkin about The Moonlight Rising convention in Catskill, and you answer your question, I asked the exact same question to Arianna, one of the three main organizers of the convention, (the ones who got it started in the first place and if you want conformation you can find her email addy and home phone on the moonlight rising website: www.moonlightrising.com) and she told me in a personal email that she won't say 'yes' he is going to sing along side CR but she also isnt going to say 'no.' She said it all depends on when James arrives and how he feels. I HOPE to GOD that he does though! He has a super sexy voice, and to annonymous, GOTR has improved SO much in the last few months, and if you have ears or even paid attention to their music you would know they have style AND talent. SO keep your hate talk to yourself cuz noone wants to hear it.

Catskil?

I was asking about the convention in London. Catskil,I didn't know about that one!
I will be attending the harvest,I think it would be awesome if JM played with the guys.I kind of hope he gives us one or two tunes.
Although I have no idea how these conventions work, maybe they would have to pay him more money to sing?I ain't sure how it works, but am hoping he plays.

I am not going to the Harvest because I do not have enough money for it , I am going to the concert and well I think it will be fun if James played some songs together with CR but I will not be crushed if he doesn't
I am not that big of a James fan , I mean I like him but not in the way I like Adam or Common Rotation ^_^
