OK, folks, it's official- I know what rooms the infamous Cricket & Ivy parties will be in next month, and I wanted to spread the word to PBPers, Bronzers, and Common Ro fans alike.

Parties are held for 5 nights (kind of like an abbreviated Chanukah, but, well, not).

Thursday night through Saturday night we'll be in the Hollywoodland Suite. Not sure what floor that's on, just know it's massive, near the top floor of the hotel, has 2 bedrooms, a massive balcony, well, bottom line is, it will be sweet.

Sunday and Monday night we move to somewhat less expansive, but still rocking quarters- room 1729, the sweet little suite we stayed in last year.

If you can't find us, the rooms are listed under my name- Erika Karnell.

The parties are by no means BYOB, but despite the hundreds of dollars we dropped on booze last year, we still somehow always run out of something, or lots of somethings, so if you want to take it upon yourself to bring something with you, we would never turn down a contribution to the WET BAR (yes, we have a wet bar, sorry, I just love that).

Also, while our motto is "the more the merrier," (well, sometimes it's "cleavage rocks," but that doesn't fit as well with my next comment) we already know there's going to be a ton of people at the parties. So we'd appreciate it if no one stands up at the end of the CR show Sunday and announces the party and room number. We love meeting new people, we just don't necessarily want all of them in our room. If it's a friend of yours who doesn't post here, by all means- we just don't want random people wandering in who don't know us from Adam (not our Adam). (Actually, that happened last year- some guy saw us in the lobby and went and got a case of beer and came up to the suite)

So please, be respectful, try to flirt equally with BOTH your hostesses, and most of all, HAVE FUN!!

Yeah, kudos to our hosts on a fine shindig with many shenanigans. And kudos to that couple in the pool for providing the evening's entertainment. :D

My flirtacious mistake last year APOLOGIZED to me at the PBP Sat for being such an asshole. He said even though he is taken he still thinks I'm adorable. Haha. I do rule. snicker

Woulda been nice to have a voice though. But I did have fun and hey when you are waiting for drunk people to sign your books, be prepped to wait a long while. Last nite I planned to be up there an hour. I was there for three and fell asleep for a half. Gah.

Cricket my lovely you rocketh beyond the telling of it. And hey Alex actually was sweet to me this year! g Ivy and Fibs were loverly too but I didn't get to know Alicat that well. I didn't see the free sex show but I did have much fun out with the smokers doing some ranting and raving about certain someones and certain issues. And I finally met RD! g Yes much fun. Much fun indeed.

I had a blast on Saturday night especially but all the nights I went to the party were great. Saturday I had a great time spending lots of time talking with Rick and Ken and my friends Deb, Shelly and Dana. The guys were great. I wish Rick would play more of the Cali shows. It'd be great to see him more. He Rocks! We never got to that oral exam either. That was totally the Mike's Hard Lemonade talking. LOL Anyways It was also cool seeing Eric there, the little that he mingled. Mostly he stayed in one spot all night but I did get to say hi when we were both looking for alchol in the bathtub. LOL

I was witness to the pool shenanigans and wow were they going at it. Haha. And they even saw everyone watching from the balcony and window and waved. Crazy people.

Thanks to Cricket and Ivy for their hospitality. And especially to Alex (even though I don't know if he reads this forum) because he was Super nice to me from the first moment we met and treated me like a good friend even though I didn't know him. I felt comfortable at the parties when normally I wouldn't. Might have been the alcohol though. I never did get that Smirnoff. LOL

Briel - LOL! I forgot all about the exam!! I think Rick did, too, since he fell asleep. I'm just glad our stalker finally left us alone.

I also wanted to say thanks to Cricket & Ivy for their hospitality. The party on Saturday was quite fun. It was nice meeting you, Cricket. I don't think I formally in troduced myself to Ivy but I did get to say hello and she seemed very nice. Thanks again you two!

Shelly~ How did we get on the exam topic anyways? LOL I just remember talking about tests and that I was going to give one or SOMETHING and he asked if he'd need a pencil and I was like no it's an ORAL exam. He gave me this look like whoa. I like to think it was an impressed look. LOL!

I had a great time hanging out with you and Dana this weekend and hopefully we'll get to do it again someday not too far in the future!

I can't remember exactly what we were talking about with Rick (I know it was right after he did that slick little move and sat down in the chair behind me) but I commented to him that there would be a test later on it. That's when he asked about needing a pencil. I almost fell over when you said it would be an oral exam. lol! The look on his face was priceless.

I had an unbelievably awesome time hanging out with you and Deb and Dana. That was so much fun. You guys are sweet. I hope to see you all sometime again soon.

I did not take a look at the pool people, but after the one lady came away saying "They aren't even doing it right!" I figured there was no need.

Key points to remember from that evening for me: Never underestimate the power of yoga. Or violin lessons.
