New Gigs Posted!!!!

Yay!!!!
The guys have two new gigs posted, both at the AlterKnit Lounge at The Knitting Factory. I can't wait, especially if my New York trip falls through. The Alterknit Lounge, even with people packed in like sardines like it was on January 10th, has an awesome, personal feeling to it. Plus, the Saturday show has a 90 minute set, which is always a good thing.

Argh, I want to write more, but i have a massive essay due tomorrow that i need to finish first. With any luck, i'll complete it at a decent hour, and be able to get back here and chat some more...

That's so cool. I thought I heard whisperings of 2 more gigs, but the main page wasn't showing them when I refreshed earlier. (FYI: lurkers in with the powers that be, April isn't Arpil on the main page )

Too bad I can't go to either of them. That is the last week of rehearsals and the first week of the play opening for me and Jack. That sucks. Now I have to try extra hard to get to the NY show, but that's not looking too hot right now either.

Ack. I'm done fiddlin' with the guestbook for my site. I am off to bed.

FYI, the set lengths for the 2 Alterknit shows are not correct as listed. I don't know for sure how long they will be but each show will be at least an hour, probably longer. Look for a few new show announcements in the coming days.

Ooh, birthday gigs huh? Much fun. Except that I've recently decided that rather than celebrate my birthday in May as usual, my birthday is now in January. So though we've missed my birthday, it's still cool 'cause I get to not age this year. (God I love my logic) Though maybe my birthday should be Feb 29th. I'd be like, what 7 or so that way.. I think. How often does that day occur? I never really paid attention to it..

Aging for wine and cheese might be cool, but when it comes to this girl, it's a bad thing. We're still looking for our way to Neverland.. and no, I don't mean Michael Jackson's ranch.

Matt - Okay, at least an hour each gig? That is good. For a moment as I read your reply I started praying "please don't say 30 minutes, please don't say 30 minutes." Long gigs are good things.

I'm already itching to buy my tickets. I just wish I knew if there were any gigs in August so I could fully plan my baby sister's visit. I'd love to take her to a show.

For all of you who don't know, Ken's birthday is on May 6th, just a few days after the 2nd Knitting Factory gig listed. I believe he'll be 27.

yay for new shows

March 13 2003, 8:45 PM

The one with Rainbow Trout would be awesome to get to.

TB: I have the picture because I uploaded a personal photo to my profile off of network54.com. It only shows up if you have a premiere account (I don't) or if you are posting in a forum that is a premiere (or some word meaning extra special) forum. I am thinking the CR forum is now extra special (in network54's eyes) and the pictures are showing up just like the popup ads disappeared. Yay!

What about June in NY state?

March 28 2003, 3:45 PM

How come there's no listing for CR's scheduled appearance at the MoonlightRising/Buffy convention weekend of 6/6-6/8? It's listed on the MR site but not here. I'm really looking forward to seeing the group perform live.

Not sure why it's not listed, but I have the MR Con info listed at Adam-Busch.net as well. I am keeping up-to-date with that as much as I can.
