How many people are going to the Gig in Scotland on the 27th of June? Are there going to be many people because we are trying to figure out how early we should get there at for good seats. Thanks
Well my friends and I are promoting the gig, so hopefully loads of people. The Strathclyde Suite I am told is big and will hold a load, as to when you should get there I am not sure maybe someone else can help you, what time does it actually start? Remember to get loads of people to buy tickets. At the moment I know of about 13 people going and it is still early days, those are my definates.
I booked about 10 days ago and got ticket number 58.
I think ticket sales are going better than expected at this stage, and I think there is still some advertising to be done.
Can't remember what time it starts, but I'll probably be getting to Glasgow early afternoon and aim to get to the venue a good hour or so before the gig.

Ok was out tonight and met someone with ticket number 112, so they are selling well
I've not been to Glasgow before, but doubt I'll have much time to see anything other than the gig, coz I have to be at work on the Saturday afternoon!!!
It'll be worth it though. Means I get to see the guys 3 times in a week!!
Just a point on ticket numbers. I'm pretty certain that they start at 50 or else 50 tickets have been set aside. I called the concert hall to book tickets when they were originally supposed to go on sale but there had been some problems so they said they would call me as soon as they were available. So when I got the call I booked three tickets straight away and got numbers 51, 52 and 53 (assuming the ticket number is on the bottom right hand side on the ticket itself). Just a point I thought I would raise, I might be wrong,

Did you go pick them up at the Concert Hall a couple days later? We booked a couple days after they went on sale and picked them up a few days later and our number is 105 on wards, so our theory is that the ticket number goes by when they print them not when you book them. Do you understand what I mean?

The gig is going to rock! And Rach I wouldn't get there to early I used to work in the concert hall and they just won't let you in and it is deffinatley not the sort of venue you can hang about outside of cause they will move you on it is a very up market venue usually used for like opera events and such like!

Adamet- I have a question for you, is the Strathclyde Suite seated and by seated I mean not gonna be able to move them seated?

No I booked them over the phone and recieved them less than 24 hours later in the post so I'm pretty sure that 50 tickets didnt sell during that time.

Its seated but it can collapse although I doubt they will collapse them due to the amount you say are being sold they have weird insurance for standing gigs so it will prob be seated though im not entirelly sure

I really hope they do collapse them, weird insurance and all, I can't imaginge a CR gig seated could be because I have never been to a seated one.

There settles the question, my theory was correct and look there it comes back through the window. I am sure selling your ticket on should be fine, it's not like a con were your name is registered so I don't see a problem.

why dont you try selling it on the harvest message board or on the sector 14 message board, although with that one you have to ask for stewart's permission first...Good luck
