How many of you old(er) school fans remember 28OS playing at the broadway beanery before it burned down? Now that its just about rebuilt and is soon to reopen do you think Common Ro' will play there? i certainly hope so :-D feel free to discss, ill leave you amongst yourselves
Does it have the same kick-ass 12-string guitar playing owner? If so, I don't think it would take much convincing for the boys the head on down the lynbrook. I know Eric loved jamming out with the owner (his name excapes me right now). I guess we'll ahve to see.
Yup same owner as before, im definetly looking forward to going back there to hang out again. This time theyre in a slightly new location (just down the street from where they used to be) and it appears to be a bit bigger this time around, so it should prove to be a lot of fun. I just went past there today, and its shaping up nicely, the sign is up and most of the interior is done.. it looks like it should be up and running by beginning - mid november. Ill let you all know when the grand opening is

hey guys, just got back from the beanery, guy named elliot salow (sp?) was playing some acoustic tunes last night, its really nice there, i think brian did a great job rebuilding it, its even nicer than it used to be. you should all go check it out. Hopefully Common Ro will schedule a show or two there, at least an acoustic show.

That would be fan-mother-*%^@$-tastic if they went back there. I'd be there in a heart beat.
Come on now boys, you've already got a show out in Huntington on Thursday 7/22/04. It's be awful nice of you to throw in a Friday night show at the Beanery.
peace and love,

Is the Broadway Beanery now a restaurant?
May 28 2004, 10:14 AM
Hi, I used to love going to the Broadway Beanery before it burnt down. I'm so excited about the re-opening. It kind of looks more like a restaurant now. Does anyone know if it has a full menu now? And do they have a website?
