I went to see David Crosby last night with my mom and it was our first time seeing Common Rotation who opened for them. I bought 2 of their CDs, "The Big Fear", and "Hotel Cafe Live". One of the stage guys gave me their setlist and it's hard to figure out the names of some of the songs so can you guys help if I post it just as it was written?

DJ= Hey Mr. DJ, a cover of a song by They Might be Giants.

Too Hard= Try Too Hard
EUTS= Everything Under The Sun
Belfast= Belfast. Or, otherwise known as Party People

I was there and they also played a song at the end without microphones. Which was pretty impressive in front of about 1000 people. Which tune was that?

It may have been "Pawn" or "Oklahoma". I'm not sure...I wasn't there!

Regan, you're wrong. DJ is a Common Rotation song. Hey Mr. DJ is a song they cover but it's written on the set lists as Hey Mr. DJ. They are two seperate songs.

Thank you for the song titles you guys knew. I "Think" the song they did without microphones at the end was called Pawn, it had the line where they would all sing "for I have nothing to be ashamed" if that helps.

Sorry if I caused any trouble with my questions, I don't want to seem uninformed like the guy on the other thread, there is obviously a lot more to this group than just the music, so it's probably better off if I leave you all alone now. I hope to go to the Bitter End, I'm not 18 yet so I'll have to see if it works out.

Hi Micheal. Yeah, that song is called Pawn. Common Rotation are a great band and you should go to more shows if you can. They get better every time (and I don't even know if that's possible) and you can't beat the live improv. Keep checking them out!
