I disagree -- I do not think that the show is boring. I think that the viewer has to be quick on the uptake to follow it - similar to the movie Memento, (which was beautifully done but ticked off many viewers who found it irritating). It depends on what the viewer considers entertainment. Some people read John Milton, others read People magazine. One is not more honorable or worthy than the other - its a matter of personal preference.

I agree that I don't find the show boring. I hadn't considered the analogy to Memento, but a very good one it is. I loved that movie too.

What is Memento?
When I first saw the preview for the pilot I didn't really bother with it because I'm not one for a courtroom drama. But in the Buffy magazine they interviewed Adam recently and he was talking about the show so I decided to watch it. I'm glad I did! Getting used to 12 new people every week makes it tough but scenes with Adam makes me want to watch more.

I've been a Law & Order fan since the beginning so having a whole new batch of people every episode is nothing new to me. The Jury is mainly about telling the story and the core cast are supporters.
As for Memento, I don't get to see movies that much, but I was glad to have caught this one. It's about a man, looking to solve the murder of his wife, but he suffers short term memory loss. He looses his memory after 10-15 minutes. Half the movie runs forwards and the half runs backwards every 15 minutes. It's quite ingeneuous. You watch a 10 minute block and wonder, "How did he get in that situation?" then the next 10 minute block shows what happened just prior.
