Great photos, thanks for sharing!
The guys look like they just stepped out of a sauna. How hot was it at The Troubadour? What was the weather like outside?

Set List
October 8 2004, 3:11 PM
I've just found that I'd caught the set list at the bottom of one of my photos.
DJ
Given Signs
Sit Down
Belfast
Heaven
G' Dyin
Savior
Indie
Bio
P Modern
Karma
Afterthoughts
Answer Machine
God Will
Eric
EUTS
Cowboy
Pawn
At least, I think that's what it says. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
I also seem to recall thinking that they actually played what was on the set list that night...which was kinda nice!

I recognize all the songs except "Eric". What was that about?

LO VERY LOUD !!
"Eric" means that Eric did a solo, like he does whenever you read "Dancer" or "No one like you" on the setlist

I recognize all the songs except "Eric". What was that about?
Adam and Jordan leaves the stage for Eric to take the spotlight.
He flashes a wide smile at the audience, takes off his guitar, then for the next 10 minutes he becomes, Eric Kufs: Lord of the Dance!
He's actually quite impressive. I rather like that than his ventriloquism.

You got almost all of it right Kat. :D Matt was lovely enough to give me a setlist. I will get it scanned soon ...jetlag is kickin my ass at the moment though.
The only different song was Afterthoughts was actually Before it Takes.
Oh, and the title if anyone wants to know was - RU4 Real?

"Before it Takes"...I can see that now, thanks Sherry.
So am I wrong in thinking they played Afterthoughts? I'm sure they did. puzzled
Suze, isn't that the song that Adam singled you out on?

I can't remember!! It's the one where he goes on at the start of the song about "this song can be many things" etc. Only thing is, that night, he was all "this is for you and you and anyone who's ever <something> but not for YOU" (which was me - or maybe the person behind me - I couldn't tell). I couldn't work out if he meant it to be good or bad to single me out that way - given that he called some guy a wanker on Monday, I wondered if I'd annoyed him in some way.. and if so, how? I'm a very well-behaved fan, I thought.
Unless Matt told him about me spilling cider all over the stage? oops

Sue - it sounds like you're describing The First Time.

Sue - I bet he just picked you randomly, no hard feelings meant. He's really a very nice guy.

I guess it just reminded me of the other night when he called that guy a wanker. Maybe I'm over-sensitive, it just didn't feel like a good singling out, if you know what I mean. I felt like a kid in school again.
