"Afterthoughts" UPDATED!

Well, just got the photos from The Point and The Bitter End posted to "Afterthoughts". A new painting is also featured (one i gave the boys at the philly show).

And a reminder, new and official flyers for all Common Rotation shows are available for download, printing, and distribution from the site as well.

Loretta -- you yelled at me all through the east coast tour to put in a little more effort (apparently i didn't "try too hard") to publicize the fact that i did indeed have the Common Rotation flyers available on my site, so here it is! And thanks again for getting my flyers and stickers out there for philly and NYC, you rock!

In addition, the flyer for eric's solo show in december will be available shortly.

and as always, any feedback to serve you guys better is always appreciated!

Happy Birthday, Holly! Guess the tour was an early birthday present, huh?

Your photos are amazing. Mine are way fuzzy from the lack of light. Are you enhancing them or is that the way they come out of your camera? What kind of camera do you have, it takes great pictures in low light.

Lovely close ups at The Point. I can tell you have an artist's eye for composition. I especially like the ones of Adam with his accordian and the one where he has his hands clasped in front of his bowed head. He looks so thoughtful. Jordan with his trumpet in hand and the guitar on the wall is a great study, as well as the one of him looking down with the guitar on the wall. The shot of Adam drumming on Eric's guitar is one that I wanted to take myself but missed. And you have Eric perfectly framed by the mike and its cord in that first photo in the 4th row with all 3 guys.

The photos at The Bitter End pretty much reflect the light levels there. How does your camera take such clear photos? Mine are both dark and fuzzy. I would have accepted the darkness if the photos were sharper.

That photo in the 6th row of Adam looking to the left with the mike stand in hand and The Bitter End sign in the back is perfectly composed. And I like the first one in the next row that has Adam, Eric, Chris and Jordan. With Jordan highlighted it's pretty neat. And that photo where Adam is adjusting his tie, I remember that moment! Great shot with Corn Mo and Dave at the drums and a wonderful finale shot.

I'm so jealous of your photos!

Holly, why don't you post the individual links to your photos in the threads about that show? That way, all the photos links for each show will be in the individual threads.

I saw the painting in real life at The Point, so I already told Holly how great it was. But it's always nice to have it said again!

I'll add my "me too" to the chorus of "great pics".

Also had a look at the ones from Woodstock in June... so now I know who it was walking around upstairs while the boys were on! (great gig, that one, no mics, was wonderful)

thank you guys so much (again)! blush

i always think the photos i take from each show could've come out better, i guess i'm too much of a perfectionist for my own good. same thing with the painting... i'm still not completely satisfied with it, but i guess it's too late now. and watcher, i never noticed the photos having such good composition before... thanks for pointing that out! they weren't even cropped or anything. i guess i really do have an artists eye for that kind of stuff. which is kind of funny, because my photos used to suck... maybe it just took the right camera, or the right subject matter to set me straight.

btw, i have a canon powershot A95. it gets the job done, although next time i might try using more of the manual settings once i get the hang of it.

...counting the days 'till february!

Awww, Holly, I still love them. I think they give them a really neat feel, actually. I mean, it's not as if we don't know what they look like fully-lit. It's like seeing the guys from a whole different perspective.
