Thanks to the ongoing mind-blowing wonder of the gift that is the Union Maid, the fantastic archive site and the fact that this message board goes far far back into my wilderness years - well YEAR and several months it is completely possible for even the newest of Common Rotation fans to play catch up!
I love reading the forum feedback given when UM’s first came out … but got fed up of scrolling up and down the pages blindly – so made myself this list. Perhaps it’s helpful to others .. or maybe just a nostalgic walk down the memory lane of previous thread titles
Happy 21st Thread!

This is cool. I read the first ever thread of the UM and how they were wondering what was to come. Ahhh, the pay off! It's so interesting to read about the UMs that were "before my time". I've got them all on my comp but it wasn't until just now, reading about them, that I'm listening to the earlier ones.
So, what's up with the "Strange" song from 30Apr03?
wow long long time since I updated this .. but with anewsongeveryday, why not? Just to see the comments/forum history of UMs to date.
I dug it up from pages gone past .. because today's UM has a lyrical echo of "Help Is on The Way" UM 28/12/04 .. and whilst I was looking for that, to satisfy my own head - I stumbled over UM 02/09/05 Hangman .. and wow. It's lovely. Let's look at all the shiny comments for it... erm - well - thanks Christy! So a very belated appreciation of #399 from me NOW!
Nice new shiny thread here
The sad thing is that most of the anonmyous *flagging up* of Union Maids was me as well: )Blimey, I even got sick of the sight of my own name *LOL*

Bumping the thread back up to the top because it's useful.
Julia, it's the extra line feeds that make that large section of blank lines. You have to run the html all together with no hard returns. If there's an html code like a td at the end of the line when you view it in preview, you have to go to the beginning of the next line and do a backspace to get rid of any line feeds that may have snuck in.
