The Whedonverse Multimedia Project seeks to donate Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel the Series, and Firefly DVDs to public libraries and other charitable organizations that need them.

So far, the project has donated a complete set of these DVDs in Joss Whedon's honor to a library in his hometown, the Mid-Manhattan Branch of the New York Public Library. We're also in the process of donating a complete set of DVDs to the Murrysville Community Library, which serves the hometown of the lovely Julie Benz.

Next on our list is Adam Busch. As the character Warren on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, he shows us that sometimes what frightens us most are not demons, but ourselves. As a tribute to his fine work on the show, we would like to donate a complete set of Buffy DVDs to the East Meadow Public Library in Long Island, New York. We may even throw in both Angel and Firefly if we have enough contributions.

The East Meadow Public Library in Long Island New York has happily accepted our offer to donate Buffy the Vampire Slayer DVDs to their library. Apparently BtVS DVDs are very popular there!

The Library will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary next month and the Head of the Library was so excited about our donation that I wish we could send them more.

We only received enough donations to send BtVS DVDs.
