I smiled the whole time while reading this. Made my whole week.

"In our continuing series of live releases our Lonesome Traveler will present his Best Bowl O’ Cherries
A collection of solo field recordings recorded on no field and for no audience
None you know"
This sounds interesting... and contradictory. But it still suggests a solo CD.

Love the new news, thanks guys! Although the comment about when 'English actors play American'? I'm sorry, but watching Americans play English is usually far more embarrassing! Especially when they think they know how 'Cockneys' sound... ;D

Hey I'm with you big time on that one Joanna. I still haven't forgiven America for giving us Dick Van Dyke's awful 'Cockney' accent in Marry Poppins...
See y'all (!), Geoff.

That was the exact example I was thinking of Geoff! Hee! I can never watch Mary Poppins because of it...

But don't you just cringe at the bit when he utters:
No where is there
A more 'appier crew
Than them wot sings
"Chim chim cher-ee
Chim cher-oo!"
I love the bit in their FAQ that asks 'Is it just me or do all the words translate to "drunk", "idiot", or "have sex"?' - Yep, they've got us spot on!
Toodle pip Joanna,
Geoff.

Gah, the memories!! My eyes, my eyes, as Phoebe from 'Friends' once said
Here's another horrible one for you Geoff - Keanu Reeves' attempts in Gary Oldman's 'Dracula'...Oh the humanity...

Nothing is worse than Keanu doing Shakespeare. End scene.

And here I was thinking at least one of the ladies around here would have been impressed by Keanu's Bottom!
(Of course I mean of the Midsummer Night's Dream variety - whatever else could you have thought I meant...)

I must admit I loved the New News and the horror of Americans trying a hand or is it a tongue at British language is very wince worthy. I am american but I grew up watching alot of BBC TV and british movies . lol I have to explain the punch lines to my husband. . I know for a fact I have a slightly southern accent but I find its more refreshing than a handicap. So yall have a fun weekend and I'll see ya's later.
((so much easier to say than to type with an accent))

Spring 2006!
First off, I'd love to hear CoRo version of Hot For Teacher! And second, gas prices suck for everyone. But I'd hate for them to stop touring because of the oil companies' greed! I hope they're using a hybrid touring van.
So, all you lovely faithful fans out there going to see the guys this tour...bring your friends to the show, buy merchandise, grease their palms, slip a little sumpin sumpin into their pockets, shower them with hugs! Well, ok the hugs are free. Let's do what we can to keep them touring people!
