Both of those are plausible theories....but I'm going to side with Julia on this. I'm sure they're having a laugh (albeit good natured....cause they know we'll buy it) on us right now.

I'm sure it was more a case of them having not gotten around to announcing it yet. Because if it was a joke, it's a rather lame one.

I think #10 is "The Same Prayer."

Not that this means anything, but there are several UMs with the word "prayer" in them. Some of them are "Alms For the Poor", "Help Is On The Way" and "Stand Still". If the song is one of them, I'd really like it to be "Stand Still".

So, whoever gets the CD first, you have to report back and let us know what that song and "I Saw That Film" are.

Random thought: the title Dust Bowl O'Cherries makes me think of a Wheel of Fortune Before and After puzzle.

Actually, it's a really interesting title. The harsh reality of the Dust Bowl with the ironic "everything is just wonderful" life is a bowl of cherries idiom. The oh part of O'Cherries makes me think of the rich folk tradition of Irish music.

I wonder if the Dust Bowl part of the title is a nod to Woody Guthrie's "Dust Bowl Ballads".

Julia and I were waiting at the guys signing tables, CoRo actually had their own table next to Adams one this time, when Matt and Adam walked in first thing Saturday morning. So I guess we had the very first copies sold and of course rushed off to listen - well wouldn't you?

I understand from them that they only had Big Fear and DBOC cd's because the others were held up in transit and won't be over here until Monday(!)

At the party they seemed to be selling DBOC at a fair rate despite the limited numbers availale, so if you're seeing them on the UK tour grab that cd quick and pick up one of the new t-shirts as well while you're at it

So to cut it short, great CD + great meeting friends both old and new at the 'party' + great gig = excellent day!

"And we get to do it all again at the Troubadour next week", he says with an eveil grin 'coz he knows it'll make everyone not in the UK green with envy!

Hello everyone

Just to reiterate what Geoff said with some added SQUEEEEEEEE! The gig last night was a great start to the UK tour much singing and bouncing done by every one. Not the best venue for CoRo, but we still have 3 other gigs to look forward to: )

Although I ordered a copy of Eric’s CD on line the temptation was too great to resist and so it was that another copy was duly purchased. Having just listened to on it on the way back from Milton Keynes all I can say at the moment is wow and the rest is fairly incoherent squee!

If you haven’t ordered a copy, do so because its so worth it: )

I will comment more coherently when I get home but wow squee! Seems to sum it up quite well for now, and for once I am looking forward to the two hour drive home from my sisters because I can listen to it again: )

And how a song with backing musicians made up of LA traffic can sound so utterly gorgeous? (spot a theme? yes, this is my review .. it just goes "gorgeous...followed by gorgeous..more gorgeous (but I do miss the harmonica!), gorgeous..." lol - someone who has mastered the English language a little better - off you go) .. The Same Prayer sounds like it was recorded in a tunnel, underpass or something! - lovely sound - ahhh and chances of playing my cherries over and over today too? .... 100%

Oh no, I am having a serious problem with the Eric’s new cd! I got home and raced to put it into my decent stereo (as you do) and all was going well until!
I was in a happy place indeed and then ‘PAWN!’
This is recorded by a very busy street. My dogs went mad rushing in and out of the house looking for the bus that they heard passing and caused my horses to stampede, opps: ) I have now tried to play that track loads of times and I can’t get past the first few notes without the dogs going mad.

Note;- I live in the middle of no where up a dirt track, not much traffic so you can understand the dogs confusion!

It looks like I will have to stick to playing it in the car then, but that’s OK because it’s Wednesday which means tomorrow I will have lots of time to listen to it again on the drive up to London and the Troubadour ‘Woot’

Oh an ice cream van that’s cool, and another thing I don’t tend to hear a lot of out here: )

Well I didn't want you all to think I was getting too 'sweet' and 'nice' in my old age!

(Besides, anyone knows me well would tell you that I'm as open-minded as you can get and physical attributes mean absolutely nothing to me. However, I do love to tease anyone in sight to provoke a reaction!)

I must admit, as I've said to others, that's a great feeling CD. I have the utmost respect of all for people who can perform without the need of millions of pounds worth of studio equipment and experts to make them sound good.

It's an excellent CD, even if it does causing havoc with household pets

Sniff, green and light blue are not my colors. They make me look ill. Oh, well. It's a good looking shirt and a great plug for the UM.

Well I hope that "skinny" tshirt comes in sizes beyond skinny. Because I prefer what's called in the US "babydoll" cut, but they are always sized so TINY. SO this not-skinny girl can wear a top that is too tight, but at least shows off her curves, or a tee that fits as it's supposed to but hides the good stuff and makes her look boxy and feel frumpy!!

So, in conclusion: girly cut tees in XL sizing, please!!

I like this new shirt and would really like to have one (since I never bought the other one....didn't really like it all that much)....but sizing will always be a problem.

Green doesn't look too bad on me....I think I could make it work.

yes please a size that would make me happy to buy. I can wear blue or green with my eyes (hazel mostly green) and coloring but I would love them both even if I didn't get to wear them. wish they made half sizing 1 1/2 xl. The girls will get this.....Bustline.

I would have liked the blue one but had to go for the green one in large, which is quite tight fitting on me sob Maybe this is the incentive I need to start that diet!

Erm...yes, I got the cd, but only because it was on sale at the recent UK gigs! I'm sure it won't take too long to get sent to you if you ordered it online...

As for the T-shirts: the 'skinny' blue T-shirt is actually quite generously cut -- Xl proved too big for us and we had to swap them over for L the next night!

I guess they'll ship the CD's when they get home....maybe they thought we wouldn't notice it and they'd make the announcement about it after the UK tour. shrugs

I wait, somewhat impatiently, for mine. I hope to have it for my Bitter End roap trip.

(I have my mom on the lookout too. She texts me at work to let me know if anything came for me in the mail. )

I actually emailed and asked about the cd's. Turns out they hadn't actually received the shipment of the cd's at their "warehouse" yet..but they are "aware of your orders" and will get them out as soon as they can.
