| Geoff, if you're reading this were you the guy with the nifty camera with the Song [?] round the neck strap and female friends? I didn't want to make a fool of myself and ask! I was behind the three dancing girls to the band's right side so didn't get too good a picures! Send me yours, or show me the link, please? pseudo.obfuscation@gmail.com
But yes, it was such a good show! When Corn Mo first same on I looked at my friend and thought 'who IS this?' but when he launched into his songs I thought 'wow.' He was really good! After his cover of 'We are the Champions' I didn't know how CoRo were going to top that!
I love all the songs CoRo played; admittedly I hadn't heard many of them, I have the Big Fear album but only got the Clear Channel Ep on the night. But they played Post Modern, one of my favourite songs, which was great, and I LOVED 'U.S.A'. I hadn't heard it before, was it their song? I must track down an mp3 of it! And haha, Geoff you were right, Jordan tearing open his shirt was an experience!
I don't want to be insenstive as they are great, but my friend thought Adam was on drugs! He not only looked like my histroy teacher but also a startled rabbit! Is he always like that? It was quite sweet!
So yeah, superb gig and I will go again next time they are back, although next time I hope it's in Brighton!
I got dragged off pretty quick afterwards, my friend John was tired as he had just got back from Thailand. Please reassure me they didn't do a meet the crowd so I don't have to be jealous and upset!! :p
Does anyone have a setlist?

It was emdearing, but kinda strange; is that just how he is or does he play it up? |

It's just the way Adam looks! He's probably really tired too, I know all the guys work hard but Adam worked harder than most of the other guests at Collectormania.
It was a great show. I'm glad other people have mentioned Jordan ripping his shirt open, I thought I'd dreamed that bit!

Have you got a good pic of Jordan? I wonder if we'll get a repeat performance tonight?
Yes Geoff would be the one surrounded by the ladies, it's the Lynx effect |

There were some people in the way so I didn't I, as well, would also like any pictures of that song being played!
Ahh, I see! I was right behind him. I was jealous of his camera.. Mine is crap and wouldn't zoom I wish I could go again tonight! |

Oy! I heard all that!
I know you what you're all really after, and they're now online at:
http://sanguinity.org.uk/coro/index.html
Yes Red, 'twas me by the sound of it. You should have just given me a poke in the back and said 'hi', I don't bite
I'm bringing a friend along tonight who's never seen CoRo live or had the 'Corn Mo' experiance so it should be another fun evening. We're aiming to be at the Trouby between 5 and 5:30 for a bite to eat so if you see us there please come over and say hello, you won't be disturbing us!
Mind you I'm not sure it's a good idea to be bringing a friend along who knows the real me quite so well as she does. I get the feeling that Julia, Mezzer and everyone else might be turning the tables on me tonight...
See you all at the Trouby for part 2! Geoff.
p.s. Red: The lens I used during the gig is just a fixed lens and not a zoom. I can't afford the price of a very fast zoom lens, we're talking high hundreds or thousand there! I just take a few snaps for fun, I'm no pro. |

I would had said hi but I'm shy and easily embarassed :p I wish I could go again but I can neither afford it or find the time - gotta work!
Gonna click on that link now! For what it's worth here's the link to the pictures I took, but they're not all that good! http://www.broken-face.net/antics/ |

Thanks for the photos, Red! Huh, Adam was wearing a plain t-shirt. At least there's nothing on the front. That's different. |

Not really, there are lots of photos of him in black t-shirts at gigs. |

Red, so glad you enjoyed the show; they (Corn Mo and oRo) were awesome, weren't they?
<and I LOVED 'U.S.A'. I hadn't heard it before, was it their song?>
I must admit, to me this was perhaps the biggest and most welcome surprise of the evening -- I'd become quite bored with it in April, but last Thursday's version was simply electrifying.
And to answer your question: it's a Clash original. |
