Zoey's Cafe is a very pleasant, friendly restaurant on Main St. in the City of Ventura. The room was pretty full but well laid-out, so that people were seated at tables and the bar without standing on each other. This was one "all ages" show where there really were all ages -- one group of people had three children who all looked to be eight or under (and all of whom listened with rapt attention). Common Rotation was on first, with two other acts on the bill.
Common Rotation lineup: Eric, Adam, Jordan
Set:
1. Satan is Real (Jordan on acoustic guitar)
2. All Smiles (not 100% sure of title) (Jordan on acoustic guitar, Adam on harmonica)
3. Afterthoughts (Jordan on acoustic guitar)
4. Smile (? not at all sure of title -- Ship of Faith?) (Jordan on banjo)
5. Union Dues (Jordan on banjo)
6. How to Lose (Jordan on banjo)
7. Auctioneer (Jordan on trumpet)
8. Lesson Learned (Jordan offstage)
9. Indie Rockin'
10. EUTS (Adam on harmonica, Jordan returns on trumpet)
11. Belfast (Jordan on acoustic guitar) -- interpolating several songs on the bridge, including Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright"
12. off-mike -- new song, "War on Christmas" (Jordan on banjo)
Very high energy set and very enthusiastic audience.
Mahap we could haveit as a new union maid.... pretty, pretty please!
I am asking nicely and everything:)
Hope you all had fun at the recent gigs.
cheers

Thanks for the set list, Shapenew. Yes, you have the Smile titles right, at least for now.

I would so love to have heard Belfast with 'Don't Think Twice' in the bridge - it's one of my favourite Dylan songs. It would be great if the guys released it as a UM.
