My friend and I got to R&R right around 7 just as the guys pulled up and unloaded their stuff in the midst of an icky, rainy night.
There were probably less than 10 in the audience when the first performer,
Patrick Thomas (and
Syd), went on, but he was even late starting his set due to the weather and trouble catching a cab.
Reed Foehl was next up, and by the time
Chris Barron came on, it was standing room at the back.
It was a great high energy set.
Before it Takes and
Party People were slipped in before
Forget. (Has
Forget appeared on the UM at all? I'd love to find a copy of that song.)
Pics are up at
http://www.iaimtomisbehave.net/commonrotation. The room was kept very dark and I didn't want to use my LCD screen because the brightness would stick out like a sore thumb, so I used my viewfinder. The disadvantage is that I couldn't really review my shots to tell what settings were working, so I also didn't get many clear photos. Some of them are in black and white because that was the only way I could salvage some of the ones where I had to fiddle with the highlights and shadows. They looked overprocessed if I left them colorized.
I also have an audio clip of the last song,
Help Save the Youth of America, to share.
Enjoy!
