Even though it says the NYC show is the official CD release party, I'd have to say this is since it's the start of the world tour to promote Isalie.

Have fun! Post pictures! Share squee!

I know someone else got a setlist too but they haven't posted it yet so here's one:

Good show. Nothing outstanding to note really. Good songs, nice harmonies, cool cowboy boots, the typical fare. Took a few pics which I'll post sometime.

Thanks for the set list and photos, Briel. Nice to see Ryan and Ken also there.

What's that first song? It looks like Yath to me. And what's No Wear? Is that You Ain't Going Nowhere or something else?

Yath = Youth = Help Save The Youth of America (Billy Bragg)
NoWear = You Ain't Goin' Nowhere (Bob Dylan)

It did seem to me that this is the "biggest" sound I've heard from Common Rotation since they have become more folk/less rock, with Jordan on trumpet and banjo (sometimes in the same song!), Ryan on mandolin and keyboards and Ken on percussion -- the music seemed more intricate and layered than I've heard live for awhile. I like the stripped-down sound, too, but thought this development was worth noting. Also, a contingent of the room sang along on the chorus on the off-mike "You Ain't Goin' Nowhere."

Thanks for clearing up those 2 songs, Briel. At least I guessed right on one of them!

Shapenew, Thank You, I always like to hear about how songs change and are addded to so thank you: )

The new Union Maid is from this very Gig!
