I attended the first half of this show. It was a night of musicians paying tribute to The Band. There was The Band Band, who stayed on stage most of the time backing the revolving door of featured performers. The drummer was the popular member. The guys played Rocking Chair but not before Adam passed around pictures of Robbie Robertson in Carny supporting his opinion that everyone who goes to LA gets a headshot and wants to be in the movies, including musicians. The best and most rousing performace, while I was there, was Stand Up which made the guy who followed that feel insecure. It was hot and crowded but very enjoyable.
