O/T Just need a bit of help

If I'm in the UK and need to call an American mobile phone do I just put +1 in front of the number? Or is it like here where calling us requires adding +44 and then removing the zero?

I'm asking here because you fair people are usually great at answering questions!

To dial the U.S. from the U.K., you dial 0101. For instance, if the number you're trying to dial is 505-555-5555, you dial 0101-505-555-5555. Hope that helps!
