Shiny! A new version of Surround Face.

So, those last 2 songs reminded me of that movie Eric was the composer for, "Defying Gravity". Balancing Act is the name of the production company, and Surround Face is one of the songs in the movie.

Just in case you haven't seen it, Eric's in the "Making Of..." video, and you can hear his music playing throughout the video.

If you didn't realize it, all the UMs starting from Dec 8th's Union Maid are from The Living Room show on Nov 20. David Garland, from WNYC's Spinning On Air, sat in with the group during their set, playing several instruments. For this song, he played the flute, Jordan played the flugelhorn, and Adam played the sax.

Thanks for the holiday gift, guys!

BTW, it was just about a year ago that the band appeared on Spinning On Air. You can listen to the show on WNYC's site.

That's ok, Julia. What can we do when we can't download a UM from the CR main page and have to do tech-y stuff to get it from their myspace page? I don't know how to do it, so I miss all those UMs that aren't uploaded to the main page.

I guess the uploader doesn't check to see if the upload worked. Or, in my experience, what sometimes happens is that the security is set wrong, so the uploader can see it but everyone else can't. The uploader can't tell the upload is unavailable to the masses.

Maybe you can tell us what you do to capture the songs off myspace. Is it a free program? If more of us know how to do it, then maybe we can get the ones that you might miss.

I'm just so glad you're able to get the ones that you can. ::hugs you:: We'll just have to pretend it was a fleeting live performance, whatever it was.

you can download this free sound recorder from here: http://www.roemersoftware.com/free-sound-recorder.html. this is what i use and its awesome. there should be an unlimited amount of space so you can sound record anything you want from the computer hope this helps!

I also use Audacity. It's free, but I missed this one, too. Did anyone grab it?
