In my opinion alot people in this forum are just stating the drummers from their favourite bands who aren't actually that good
I think that the best drummer is some who has that all-round open-mindedness of being able to play jazz and death metal or punk and pop
That's why I choose
1. Chris Adler (Check him out he's an amzing drummer check him out, don't get scared by the band, just listen to his drumming)
2. Danny Carey (Amazing capabilities of fucked up time signatures)
3. Dave Lombardo (Amazing speed and creativity)
Any one who says Joey Jordison obviously is very oblivious to he fact that he's overrated and all he can play is 4/4 time signatures and really fast, there's nothing amazing about speed, it's about technicality, precision and diversity
