Glad to hear it!

by (no login)

Hi Larry,
I'm glad to hear that you're back and recovering...you know it's funny, but I was just looking at your picture over at the First Baptist site. You were at the foot of the cross during a rehearsal, helping to hold it up. As I was looking at the picture, I was wondering how you were. (That photo is here, by the way)
A quadruple bypass sounds pretty scary to me. I guess you can really feel a difference now, can't you? Well, welcome back. Good to hear from you.

Everyone keep hitting Jim up to make a new tape from one of the in-house recordings. The affects were better and the audio has to be better.

Oh well, I thought while I'm throwing this thing together, I might as well put a message board on here. It just takes a minute or two when you've done it before.
So...use it, somebody! It's an HTML message board, so you can post pictures and stuff if you know how.

I'm looking forward to next year to see what the "Woman's Point of View" is...
Like I said earlier, you and Louanne put a great thing together each year for the Church and the Myrtle Beach community. Thank you.

By the way, I know I speak for everyone when I say that I hope Dan can be back next year. Dan, if you see this, let us hear from you.

Hi John

by (Login kennycarter)

Hi John,
I'll try and make the Cast Party tomorrow night if I can...
If you think about it, mention the web site to people, if you will. I think the majority of them probably don't know about it yet. I had 37 e-mail addresses on the sheet I was passing around, so there's probably 100 or more that don't even know about it.
A chat every now and then might be fun too...there's a chat room link for just us at the top of the Message Board, that's really easy to use. It doesn't require registering to use, although you can to reserve your name, or handle.
Thanks again for the good job you did on the Play.

Glad you made it

by (no login)

Kenny,

I'm glad you made it to the cast party last night. I wish I would have made it to the covered dish part. I always enjoy the award thingy that Jim does.

It would be cool if we could get the results of that posted on the board here.

I'll keep passing the word on about the website.

Thank you for that awesome job you did on Worthy of More!!!

We had a wonderful time last night, speaking to everyone, and of course, viewing the GSPP 2002 video.
It was a great just sitting there, fellowshipping, and experiencing a general feeling of acceptance by a wonderful group of Christian brothers and sisters.
It is a warm memory...

This thing's got a Chat Room, too.

by (no login)

This thing's got a Chat Room, too. Its located on a link up at the top of the Message Forum. It's only accesible through this site, so that should cut out most of the weirdos (except for us). Just click on "Chat!", enter a nickname and you're all set.
The only problem is in getting people to all show up at the same time. Anybody want to organize this?

I think on the Sunday program I even sang most of the right words. That's always good...
By the way, I have some original material on line at http://www.sentforth.net The LO FI link is the one to use unless you have Road Runner, or some other type of high speed connection. Then, the HI FI link would be the one to use.

I know what you mean. I had a time with the "Blessed is he song". I knew all the words, but had difficulty in getting the right phrase in the right place. I think I finally did it right on Sundays performance as well. We finally started getting everything down and then its over, huh?

Thank you, John Hanna!

by (no login)

I thought John Hanna did an outstanding job in his role as Jesus, despite having only 21 days to prepare for it.
Thanks, John!

Did anybody notice the Choir on Thursday night rehearsal before the Passion Play singing, John Hanna, John Hanna, John Ha--na, instead of Hosanna, Hosanna, Ho--sanna?

Thanks to all of you for your tremendous support. I know that you all prayed for me because I could feel it and the continuous kind words of support and compliments were the encouraging factor that made it possible for me to complete this task in the manner that I did.

Words can't express my appreciatiation for your support, prayers and the blessings this experience has been!

Same here...

by (no login)

Same here, Veronica. I know we all think of the Passion Play as an outreach (and it is), but I think that we get more of a blessing out of it than the people in the audience that come to hear it. Art Morrison told me one time that he thought about it the whole time he was driving back home to Canada...
Jim and Louanne have put a great thing together for the church and the Myrtle Beach community. Thank you!
