Response to So, how did it go? |
| *Hugging Liz, kissing Sarita, giving the puck to Trip, tickling Chicken of the sea and running after Questina's pets with a lighter*
The new prod made my old prod my agent in this (Just as I tought always of him anyway.)
He said he wont change a thing to the project because if he did, he would not even consider producing it. Also, it'll be fake 2D (Remember Panzu Heaby game?) but close monitored by my artistic vision.
The guy has fallen for my world, the epidemic in it, the way the characters interacts toghether and the fact that it is almost all done. (8 years work kinda difficult to hide.) And also he both recognised the animator technician, the dungeoner, the graphic artist and author in me.
They almost not spoke to me as I just awnsered their questions they were planning for both 2-3-4 seasons and the computer game and our local 3D compagnys and facilities in Montréal. Thay gave me what I wanted more than money; artistic entegrity of the project! (Ok I won't eat on this... But 8 years!)
I like the guys! And they promised me a crazy, as motivated as me team to work with as they discussed the diffusors (If no diffusors are interested... This will be all for nothing.) The new prod is talking of investing from his own pocket if needed ... as for me, I really am gratefull for the attention putted over the project so in any case, I'll sink back in my little TUR world. I promissed not to break the option wich contract is now under writing (AND I SINCERELY WONT; I've seen so much sick producers wanting to turn this into puppet show or being all reworked. Brrrrr!)
I wish they have the subventions, I wish they have plenty of GOOD subvention money so we have plenty of GOOD animators well encouraged and well paid. We agreed over not obstruct the project in anyways, to leave it flows. I guess I'm really crazy, I asked too little for my rights for the derivate products, Bob almost punched me over that one! (But heh... I'll have my word over this too if what they say is true.)
Also, unfortunatelly Liz, the timing and quality of my text leaved the developpement a bit scared. My french medieval writing is more Molière than Sheakspearian. So it doesn't fit well with UK or US writers. It's not puns stuff, it is enchainement problems and the nature of the scripts. So it is decided that'll be worked on in international french first. (Sorry.... Maybe I'll touch a word when they'll reach foreign diffusors as if they could hire you for translation. RGB is kind of really different from my medieval-fantasy style. -Wich is also different as the one peoples are used too... A lot of non-verbal expression, a lot of acrobatic at the non super-human level, a lot of lithotes, misunderstandings and quipropos. And finally a female knight league. ;P )
It was really fun, I havent slept the whole night, have been ready and almost not sleeping and eating for a full month, my system got down as soon as I reached home and my bed. That was why the very long waiting. And I kiss you all. I've been scared for nothing!
I should wait until we're in a production rush and my scripts are late and no computers want to work or the animators are striking for poutine! That is if TV channels wants it! (Oh please Lord of all creation, lay down your eyes on that little chubby artist who worked so hard to try a bit to make smile your whole creation and shake those diffusors so they may hear the WORD!.... hem ... So they may open their eyes over something I've been working with all of my heart on for them and the public! <----- Does that just sounded like Deamon?)
Aaaaaaaaaah...
I'm supposed to calculate now how much voices, characters and emplacements are needed now. And... work with that on Excel? What's Excel??? | |
