| Yeah, I said I'd do one per week but I got busy (lazy/forgetful). But here's questions 16-20.
BE UTTERLY ENTHRALLED!
(waits)
*That's* not enthrallment! Ah well.
16. Which is your favorite appearance of a hat in ReBoot? (This does include guest-hats, of course, so don't limit yourself to Enzo's cap).
Bob: You there! With the hat!
Binome in top hat: Yes, is it always a good idea to ReBoot?
Enough said.
17. What happened to Meggy in the Web? The same place that made Bob come back a (temporary) (pseudo-) pacifist made Megabyte set aside his life-long goal in favor of becoming revenge-crazed and creepier than ever before…
I think he’s become a little unhinged. If you look at all that web degradation, you have to ask how much of that got to his mind. Not to mention maybe he was stuck there by himself for who knows how long with no one to talk to. Not conducive to sanity I say.
Mind you, he was really only there for two episodes as *himself*, so it’s hard to say for certain. And I think, like AndrAIa and Matrix’s time growing up in the games, or Bob’s own time in the web, we won’t ever find out except maybe for a reference or two if Meggy goes on a spiel elaborating why he’s taking hideous revenge.
18. What makes ReBoot better than other television shows? Or do we Booters just say it's better to account for our own taste?
It’s imagination, its (especially last two seasons) terrific technical ability to animate the cast emoting, the soundtrack, and some of the writing was really good. I think it demonstrated to me what CGI was capable of and fueled my love of it as a medium. For the most part, it had some great chemistry between the characters. And of course, it has Meggy.
19. If each cast member were a kind of pie, which kind would they be and why?
Dot would be strawberry and rhubarb. Sweet and…uh...whatever rhubarb is. Not sweet? Because there’s times when rhubarb needs to make tough decisions. Bob’d be blueberry. Aside from the coloration being similar, it’s the most liable to irritate you by staining your clothes but somehow do it endearingly. It’s the pie you come back to. Cecil would be quiche, I don’t think that needs elaboration. And for some reason, I see Mouse as pecan.
I’m moving on before this analogy breaks down any further.
20. So the guardians were infected by Daemon, turned evil, tried to help blow up the Net, and are now supposedly good again. If you were the average sprite-on-the-steet, would you trust the guardians to protect you anymore?
“No it’s OK we’ll uh, fight our own games now. Beet- root!”
I’m sure some sprites will realize that the guardians couldn’t control their own actions and try to forget all the viral unpleasantness, and some who’ll blame the guardians whether it was their fault or not.
