I get the feeling that Cursor was another one of MFE's little jokes, seeing as they were making fun of Star Trek in that episode anyway. They already had Cursor talking like William Shatner did on Star Trek, so why not make him look like something from one of the Trek films? Any Trekkies would love it, as you seem to have proved.
