The rights, so we have been told, expire "in ten years." Ten years from when, exactly? Nobody knows for sure, and because of the tangle of buyouts and such, I don't think anyone can find out who has them now. But if the videos appeared on the shelves in 1995, then it's pretty likely that the rights will be up next year, or maybe earlier this year.
Heh. When the S3 DVDs came out I redid my S3 music videos with the cleaner footage. I'll redo my S4 videos in May. If S1 and S2 come out on DVD I will have a lot of work ahead of myself!
