i work for a small game crating group and the idea of recreating 1 or 2 sounds pretty cool to me.

but what company made discworld 1 and 2 ?? i need to know this because we need permission to do this.

Assuming you mean 'creating', to be honest I can't see the point of recreating DW1 and 2. They can be downloaded for free from various abandonware sites. Although I'd like to see a Gameboy Advance version of 1 + 2 , along with some other PC adventures like Monkey Island and Darkseed. If you did intend to go ahead for whatever reason, leaving technical problems aside, the company who made them, Perfect Entertainment, have long since gone bust and scattered to other companies. I have no idea what's happened to the actual game rights - maybe they're back with Terry Pratchett.

I'd love to see discworld back on the shelves but the cances of that are slim to none, because of the collapse of PTE.

I really want to get Discworld II with speech.. I used to have it but lent to a friend and never got it back :( Anyone know where I can download the full game with speech.. or even filled with pre-christmass spirit and wanna send it here? :)

Well first of all we'd need to ascertain where you live (i.e. country) in order to work out if the game can be got to you. I'd happily burn it and send it on but I canne do it from here at this moment in time :)
