I got the talkie version of DISCWORLD1 after playing the floppy but I can't seem to get the thing working. The music settings are fine but AFTER I select a digital audio driver the game won't start and says it's missing the English.ipx file... WHAT IS THAT FILE? I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone please help? Or send me the thing?

Maybe you need to download the whole game again for the "Decoder Fix" (see Documentation / Extras) to work. I downloaded both, the whole game and the decoder fix yesterday and I got it to work perfectly with Dosbox.
