No suggestion on OOP, but...by Anonymous (no login)
If you want an example of how to do OOP badly, look at the .NET framework and the C# programming language. Together they make a beautiful mess. However, I'm somewhat biased against them, so my response should be taken fairly lightly. I find C or at most C++ to be useful. For anything I can't do with the standard libraries of those languages, I use a library.
