Well, I had that job interview....

Got slammed for half the day long on the phone in a conference setting. Something had there interest, but in the end they thought I would do better in a setting requiring low-level programming. My knowledge of the software development process was not up to par, despite my degree focusing on software engineering.

I can't disagree with them.

I guess I'll head out west and be a ski/surf bum again while I develop my usefulness in the current setting. This isn't at all a bad thing.
