Michelle Elaine Lively Clinton, age 48, of Dublin, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2009 peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was born July 4, 1961 in Columbus to William W. and Joyce E. (Skeen) Lively. Michelle is preceded in death by her father. Survived by her husband of 24 years, John E. Clinton; daughter, Lauren; son, Kyle; mother, Joyce; and many dear friends. She graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1979 and from the Ohio State University in 1984. Michelle was a member of Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church, Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, spent over 20 years in the travel industry and stayed very active in support of Brain Tumor Awareness and research. She enjoyed countless activities that supported the interests of her children and husband. Her valiant spirit was a witness to all who knew her. Love, Grace, Strength and Faith best describe the way in which she battled brain cancer for 9 years. The family is truly grateful for the outpouring of love and support that so many have shown throughout this battle. Be Loved, Be Strong, Be Well -- aside from the grace of God, there's nothing more that's needed. Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6:30-8:30 P.M. on Friday, August 28, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road , Upper Arlington. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church, 4343 Dublin Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026. Rev. Dale Lykins officiating.
