A community event to help UAHS senior Blake Haxton.

BLAKE'S CREW OF CHAMPIONS WALKATHON Saturday, May 30, 2009

This event, to be held on Saturday, May 30, offers everyone in the community an opportunity to shine a light on necrotizing fasciitis (NF or sometimes known as flesh-eating bacteria) and help Blake Haxton regain mobility with medical devices. The day will include guest speakers, refreshments and food, live entertainment, and raffle items to benefit Blake and to raise awareness of NF.

Blake Haxton, a senior at Upper Arlington High School, contracted a serious flesh-eating disease known as necrotizing fasciitis (NF) that caused doctors to amputate both legs. Blake has a long hard road to recovery but will come out on top with the help of all of us.

PLEASE join us and show your support for Blake and help raise awareness of NF on Saturday May 30, 2009 @ UA High School Stadium for the Blake's Crew of Champions Walkathon.

If you are a local business owner and would like to display an event poster in your business, please reply to this post and I will get a poster delivered to you.

Come out and show your support for Blake and his family. happy.gif Hope to see you there!!
