      Dr John VanFossen passed away in Akron,Ohio on September 16th.

      John was an honor student, an Eagle Scout at 14, and an all- around athlete at UAHS

      He was Captain of the 1952 UAHS Football team.

      He had a very successful General Medicine practice in the Fairlawn area.

      John was well known for being perhaps the last doctor in Ohio that made house calls.
