Does anyone know if a 1973 Mach 1 convertible was ever made?

I doon't think so. As with all Mustangs you could add or remove options. So, if you wanted Ram Air on your convert you could get it. Decor group grill yep! Installed if you want. But no Mach1 interior that I know of!

All Mach 1's were fastbacks. No hardtop or convertible Mach 1's were ever made by Ford.

Kit is right, there's no such animal as a Mach 1 convertible although there are some great adaptions. I have a picture of a 73 Shelby convertible which was never built as well. He parked next to me at the Southern Colorado Mustang show from 2002. Only a front shot, but this guy had a awesome 351 in it and it was very clean with lots of goodies including a signed dashboard by Carrol Shelby.

a guy down the road from me has one, its a '73 mach 1 convert. the thing is he got it custom, he is a big car buff and put it on himself. it looks really sweet with the convertable, but Ford never built it like that straight from the factory
