Okay- I've licensed my dayhome (that is home daycare for Americans)and have 4 kids (2, 2 1/2, 3, 3 1/2) and I can have another couple of kids and probably will eventually.
I also homeschool my own four (11 1/2, almost 13, just turned 14 and 15 1/2).
The 15 year old does the kitchen. The 14 year old does the laundry. The two younger ones do garbage and assorted lifting, hauling and carrying (i.e. run to the basement and get XX for me).
I don't think I've been here since I moved to a new city and am living in a townhouse instead of a house. Fenced yard and daycare is only on the main floor and not upstairs or downstairs so my kids and cat can get away from the daycare if they want to
I vac twice a day (usually) and move all the furniture and vac once a week (usually). Walls, floors, daycare bathroom ... =8-| I fit in when I can but I need to be doing it EVERY EVERY
EVERY day!
Toys are cleaned every Wednesday evening... and let's see... that could be about all of my routine...
I'm trying to set up a firm schedule so that early kids have planned activities and late staying kids have planned activities (that would be the same activities- twice the fun, half the planning...) but I'm still working on that!
