2 Unannounced Pointfest Bands Are.....

by Anonymous

Seether and Flyleaf. Here's the story:

Dates have been confirmed for the second leg of the Seether/Flyleaf tour, which will also feature Christian rockers Red. The new run of shows will begin on April 29th in Orlando, Florida, stretching to May 21st in Covington, Kentucky. Red will also link up with Three Doors Down and 12 Stones from April 9th through the 24th. Red singer Michael Barnes told us how his band approaches opening stints like these: "You have to bring it, you've got to be on your A game every night, because they're just gonna look at you and then decide, you know, after the first couple of songs whether they like you or not. And so that's kind of our goal every night is just to win the crowd over, you know, with the dynamics that we have, with the, you know, stage presence that we use on stage every night, and, you know, that's just kind of the thing that we do, you know, and we hope for the best, basically."

The band spent some time at home before its current tour working on material for its second album. Red's next CD will follow up its 2006 debut disc, End of Silence, which features the singles "Breathe Into Me" and "Already Over."

As you see, the STL date is on Poinfest. I'm pretty pissed, bummer for me. I was expecting better bands.
