has anyone put a versailles 9" disc brake rear in their 68/69 fairlane? It looks like it's a little narrower than the fairlane, just want to get an idea of what I'm getting into here.

thanks

the rear end you are talking of is so hard to find and that is the best because it gives you more room to put on bigger tires , my friend has one on his 69 mustang , you just have to get the leaf spring perches relocacted so that the springs sit right and you will be happy , just make sure that the pinion angle is maitained too when relocating the perches. the are specific measurements for the distances of the perches so don't just bolt it on do some research . that rear end is like gold . take your time and get it done right you will be happy when you wana put those 10" mags on the rear. trust me.
