Aside from the weight difference, I've been noticing a very eerie resemblance between Robert Smith and Michael Jackson.
Especially over the last year or two.

funny, i thought the same thing when i saw one of the first promo band pics for the last album. ill try to find a link to it. eerily looks a bit, a small bit like Michael innocent until proven guilty, but we all suspect jackson.

i truly believe that michael jackson looking like Robert Smith is no mere coincidence. if you watch the Close To Me video and take notice of the part where Robert hisses he actually looks like michael jackson. i don't know which, but there is a video where michael hisses.
but of course, it's jackson who has copied Robert.

good thinking jade, although i learned to shotgun during the kurt cobain years, but it was still kind of an intimate thing, only close friends and such.... but whatever, robert and simon playing tonsil hockey is not only hot, but light years away from molesting little boys. michael jackson does look vaguely like robert, in terms of being paler than hell (i really do like the giant body guards with the black umbrellas, so cool...), has red lips and a ton of black hair in his face.
