Hello everyone

Hey whats happening here?
I been out of things for a bit, travelling and concerts and stuff, general fun and depravity.
Nine Inch Nails concert was incredible, if anyone gets the chance to go to a show on the tour do it. I was a bit unsure beforehand cos I still haven't really gotten into the new album, but they played all the old faves so it was cool. Trent even looked like he was enjoying himself, never thought that would happen - he even laughed once when the audience was singing the 'don't you' line from Starfuckers at him for so long and wouldn't stop.
And three Rammstein concerts in 2 weeks has been bloody fantastic, I want to do it again. I never jumped, dance and sung so much (and got so bruised and wet and covered in ticker tape so much) - again go if you get the chance and want a good show, or even maybe enjoy the music!
Sadly no more travelling for a couple months, not even any concerts booked, fucking boring.

Nothing much happening around here...kinda boring...I visit the Interpol forum once in a while and there's so much going on around there...I wish Cure would play more and keep us fans excited and with a lot to talk about...
I saw NIN @ Coachella and was absolutely blown alway...I kinda liked them before...but now...I love them...and love the new album...they'll be playing here in LA on october 1th...with the Queens of the stone age...can't wait...

thanx Pinkcat, yeah I know what you mean about the lack of activity in Cureland, just one UK concert Robert, come on, you're not too old, you can take it.

Meant to say before, the venue in Berlin where I saw Rammstein - they have the Cure playing end of August http://www.wuhlheide.de/en_index.html - I can no way get to this but if anyway can, just do it, its a fantastic venue in one of the most fantastic cities I've ever visited, would be well worth the trip, even the long trip from the US.

Ah, good to hear from ya. Sounds like loads of fun you had there!

Not much going on here, since the band kinda went dormant. I'm sure it'll be popping again if the rumors of going into the studio in the fall are true!

I've seen NIN twice now, and I would see them again this fall when they come back around... But every venue near here takes place my due week. Go figure. I'll either be ready to pop, or I'll have just "popped" (ROFL at that image!), so looks like we're going to miss them this year.

Thanks everyone, good to chat again, but I still miss Berlin, return trip in autumn I think!

Filthy, Nikon D70, yes very nice, I'm sure you'd be pleased with it - though I'm a big Canon fan myself, specially when you add a Canon L series lens, just can't be beat, and I'm still in love with my Canon 20D digital camera! Problem is though, when you get your new digital slr you'll then want to take it travelling!!

yea - if i'm going anyplace cool i usually bring a camera.

i've taken a lot of cool concert pics over the years...
i been trying to get my (canon) camera into a cure show for a long time now and have never been able to get any response from cure management.

i want a manual focus digital slr not an AF, so that's why i was looking at the nikons.

they're giving away the D100's now 'cause they're not auto.
