collaboration w/ steve severin probable...
to be released late April 2006...
tour to follow.

a word to the wise:
PLEASE be very careful when sharing your personal information with anyone over the internet. we have had problems in the past with psychohackers befriending Cure fans and then bombarding them w/ trojans (not the rubbers), viruses, nastygrams, etc.

Thank goodness for good news! It's given me relief after reading a post about Robert leaving The Cure on this website whose forum I happen to be a member of: http://www.musicfanclubs.org/cgi-bin/yaBB.cgi?board=Cure

But then some of the messages I don't tend to believe...

I finally have some way to write Robert because I cannot find an address to write him by letter. Then I can e-mail him to ask him if the rumors about him leaving are just crazy. But then The Cure would not be as good as they are without Robert!

Robert can't leave The Cure because there wouldn't be a band without Robert... If he "left" The Cure it would no longer exist.

Yeah, without Robert there is no Cure... He would never leave!

The rumor on the musicfanclubs board was that Robert was going to leave The Cure to become a truck driver for Mack (whatever they said), but I DON'T think that at 46, Robert would suddenly want to be a TRUCK DRIVER! I found so many things wrong/w that rumor and I know that because my dad was once a truck driver and because of physical sterotypes of a truck driver. I've never been on any of my dad's trips but I do know some of the things that men/women would have to do being a truck driver which includes carrying heavy cargo and being on the road for a long time and Robert is on tour w/The Cure long enough (WHO KNOWS?) and falls ill sometimes, does he really need anymore of that? Not really... besides, truck drivers are prone to back problems right?

Robert@thecure.com is not his e-mail. I e-mail it a couple of times and it just sends it back to me saying " delivery problem".

Woo hoo, lets hope they do a better setlist for the US as they did in Italy.........
