Hey, just wanted to see if anyone else has heard about the Directors Label Series or has any of the discs already?? Universal just released the second installment of the series which features the work of Mark Romanek, Stephane Sednaoui, Jonathan Glazer, and Anton Corbijn -- personally, I'm a huge fan of Corbijn and Glazers work, everything from Anton's videos for U2, Depeche, and Joy Division to Glazer's Radiohead videos and his film Sexy Beast. This project was actually created by Chris Blackwell's Palm Pictures and the directors chosen were picks of director/artist Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind).
If anyone wants more info on this project, or has any general questions, I have a ton of information from Universal Music Group about the project. Anyone else want to comment on the series...the new discs came out last month?
