okay, i think that's it, i haven't done alot...but here is my question. does anyone ever deny a friend? i've got some weirdos sending me messages and i'm kinda weirded out. anyhoo, holler back, i need some definite help.

Pyra gets them, and I got one this morning. I don't know anyone in Florida. She messaged me "Do I know you from somewhere?".

It's funny that u mention it, becuase I think everyone on myspace has felt weird out by someone.........I have felt like that, like they will send a weird message and ur like, K, should I deny it or not.....At first I would just leave them in the friend request inbox cause I thought they would know I denyed them......Yea, some ppl give u a weird vibe...

i deny people ALL THE TIME!!!
if they dont send me a message telling me who they are and where i know them from...i deny them!!!
that way all of my myspace friends are either real life friends...or cure friends from here...

Yeah, I've had a couple of guys send me messages saying that they want to IM me.... I just sent them a message back and told them that I'm married and not interested. I've had a few friend requests from creepy people, too. You just look at their profiles and see how many friends they have and what they look like, etc... The guys that wanted to IM me had all pictures of women in their underwear and stuff. So yeah, I deny requests all the time!

Some people seem bent on getting as many friends as possible.... Almost all the friends on my profile are people from here or people I actually know.

I deny just about everyone unless I have a specific reason not to. I haven’t had any real issues with people sending me creepy messages, but then, as a man, I suppose you would expect that. My wife on the other hand, has had problems, including people sending her highly inappropriate messages that we have had to block. We found that removing any and all images of her from the site seemed to help curb that. Don't feel bad about denying people and use the block functions for people that give you a creepy vibe. There is no reason to put up with it.

It's truly a shame that people seem to believe the anonymity on the internet gives them the right to be complete assholes. Then again, I suppose some are like that in real life too.
