What's the most craziest thing you've ever done to go see a concert? Any band, not just The Cure.

My hubby and I flew all the way to San Francisco for the weekend, from Boston, just to see Green Day at SBC park.

I can't think of anything crazy I've ever done to go see a band, but I surely did something crazy to see Cure up close, you guys might remember my crazy coachella story. (the one that I crawled under the stage and ended up in the middle of the photographers...and got to watch part of the show from the best spot, until they kicked me out...
oh well...

i flew tp seattle (from la)...
drove to everett...
cought the show...
met robert (again)...
ate breakfast...
flew back home...
WITHIN 24 HOURS!!!

O.k., my crazy story is that I flew to L.A. for a wedding which went until 3 a.m., then at 7 a.m. flew back to Minnesota where my dad and I were going to drive to Michigan, then stop there, and the next day drive to Toronto where I was going to see The Cure in Curiosa. Well, the first part went fine (wedding, got back to MN as scheduled), my dad and I left drove 100 miles, and my car completly broke down. It was Sunday evening 5 p.m., and no shops where open. We were towed back the wrong direction to get my mom's car, left again around 8 pm., and drove 19 hours straight so I could make the show on time. I felt so bad for my dad who is 65 and was totally exhausted of course! I was meeting my cousin in Canada at the show, so all of this had to be coordinated as well, my cell phone charger was in the broken car, etc., but it all worked out and I was only 45 minutes late meeting my cousin, which was well before Muse, Interpol, or The Cure started. It was totally nuts. I stopped being tired the minute the show started, becuase I was so excited to see The Cure. I was awake for over 50 hours straight and started to hallucinate! Do I regret it? HELL NO!!!!! Awesome venue, awesome show!

i haven't really done anything crazy... what comes to mind now is the first (and only! ) time the cure played down here. i remember i had tix only for friday (they played friday and saturday), so on sat i had to sneak out my house (i was 15 at the time and my mum wouldnt let me go out at night lol) and bribe the security guard people at the entrance of the stadium to let me in!!! lol

The only thing I've done that comes even close to something crazy was last year.... We rubbed up against a semi (aka a lorry in the UK) on Interstate 25 in Denver (which was more narrow than normal because of the work they were doing on it) on our way to Curiosa. It was still drivable (barely) and we went to the concert anyway!!! We were lucky that we didn't hit the semi at an angle... We would both be dead.

Sammy Subaru is only from 2002, so the insurance covered all the damage (minus the deductable, of course). You can't even tell we were in a wreck, now...

We didn't fall asleep at the wheel, I was reading the map in the passenger seat and Dave glanced at the map out of habit.... D'oh!

I'm boring, I've nothing to share. BUT, next time The Cure comes here,I'm hooking up with Midnight and the rest of the local gang and I KNOW then I will have a story to share Right Midnight? LOL

dose anyone know when they're going to release the dates of when they're touring?

No offence guys, but I wouldn't count on a tour for next year.... You know they are always late when recording an album. Things might be different since they've got a new label, but I personally won't plan on it until I see some official confirmation of tour dates.
