I'm gonna have to go with Boys Don't Cry. I think there's only four chords (can't recall exactly which ones off the top of my head, lemme get back with you on that one). It's the first Cure song that I learned. Killing An Arab is really easy too.

I'd stick with the early stuff, it's usually pretty basic and straightforward, and fun as hell to play. :-D

boys dont cry - with the exception of the first A, it's all bar chords and a lot of ppl have probs there.
but i don't think robert plays the whole chord - he cheats.

Yeah, Just Like Heaven is really easy. I forgot about that one. I think Robert plays a mixture of bar and true chords. I think it's all dependent upon his mood. :-)Bar chords are, in what I've gathered from my students, easier, as long as they can get their fingers to cooperate. Especially in chords like F, G, C, and so on. It's all about whatever is easiest.

yea my friend's neighbor was playing some of inbetween days for me yesterday. It might be easy, but I'm not sure....

Will Cure songs sound ok on this do u think - especially once I connect it to an amp. I think Lullaby, Inbetween Days and Just Like Heaven sound easy enough, I really wanna learn High, This Twilight Garden, Halo and Friday I'm In Love. I know Wish was very guitar based so it maybe more complex I dunno.

i would have to say that the easiest song would be Lullaby. well actually Roberts part is the easiest part to play in that song. other than that i agree with everyone else's choices.

Yeah, most of Robert's solos and rhythm are pretty easy (not to say that he's not a good guitarist, because HE IS), but his contributions are a good place to start.
