It reminds me of alcohol at a time when no one was considered "alcoholic". TONS of people smoke it(I don't-I actually think it's gross) but people say it isnt addictive. ANYTHING can be addictive. But still I really think it should be legal. It should be a choice. It's a shame we don't use more hemp products.

I can't smoke...I get really paranoid...and I kinda think that any kind of smoking is disgusting...
Most of my friends smoke, and I've noticed that it might not be physicaly addictive, but it's definetely mentaly addictive...

i don't smoke either...i'm actually allergic to cig smoke
but i think the use of marijuana, expecially for medicinal
purposes should be available

it was absolutely the hardest thing i've ever done (quitting weed when i went back to college). i just can't retain information with that crap in my bloodstream. it took, literally, six months before i was able to get my wits about me once again. i went from morning, noon and all night weed-a-thon to none. it was six months of pure hell.

but, the fact that it's illegal is an example of our government overreaching it's bounds, again. it's more of a power distribution issue than a health one. 8X more ppl are hindered, crippled and killed by alcohol than drugs, but booze will never be addressed because everyone in DC is an alcoholic. 87% of ppl under the control of this county's correctional agencies are alcoholics, whereas only 50% (of federal offenders) are addicts. and they are defined as "offenders" because our gov. makes a HUGE profit by doing so.

But don't we end up paying the bills for the govt anyway? So we end up losing money in the end as Americans. I would think the govt would make more cash legalizing it as a business. How much does the govt make on alcohol sales per year? Gotta be TONS!!!!

i dont care if they ever legalize it. my pothead friends have no trouble finding it. they dont get all stupid and smoke on street corners and shit so the chances of them getting caught with it are minimized. anyhoo, if they do ever legalize it, maybe the chicago city council can tax the fuck out of it and leave us ciggarette smokers alone. going upto 7.50 in 3 weeks and we have less and less places to smoke. clubs and bars to follow in about 2 years.

anyhoo, last time i smoked pot was after the cure show in 2000 in detroit back at the hotel. i finally realized that all that ever happens to me is i get all paranoid and theres no point in getting high just to get all spaztic.
