Shit Midnight I wanna go so much! Section L huh? - those are pretty good seats eh I was looking at the seating plan - in the stalls right? I am looking for stalls now not boxes, apparently M1,M2,H1 and H2 are the best in the stalls so trying my best to find some there. This would be my first time I have seen The Cure, I'm a Cure-newbie (2002) and now obsessive! I'm getting to that point now that I don't care how much I spend on the tickets I just gotta go see them and The Royal Albert Hall is meant to a truly awesome experience
Mmmm what you think? Row 11 so thats right at the back of the stalls but still an awesome viewing position. Has anyone been to The Albert Hall before, is it smaller than it looks from the pictures of it inside, I read this somewhere.
You can do it Johnno!!! Just keep checking everyday. More tix will be released I'm sure! How far are you from Royal Hall? Midnight n I are staying till Tues afternoon. I'm beyond words I'm so excited. Once I step on that plane I have a feeling my life is never going to be the same in the best way:) Even if it's just a trip across the pond. It is still a great trip!!!!

Hey Arc - I live about 40 minutes south-west of London just about where the very outer suburbs of the capital kinda begin. I am checking ebay every spare minute I have. I will go to the ball!!!
Jonno- YOU WONT REGRET ANY MONEY YOU SPEND. If you havent seen them live then you are in for a TREAT...well even if you have seen them your in for a treat! I say GO FOR IT and get whatever tickets you can. Its good to be closer though so you can see Roberts facial expressions and movements when he sings....its truly UNFORGETABLE! I am so excited for you guys!!!! Only a few weeks til the show!!!! hehe

hey midnight & arc:
March 14 2006, 3:35 PM
i think i'm gonna stay over in london one more night (sunday night).
our tickets are for stalls O1, row 6.
we saw siouxsie, et al, @ RAH way back when ('82/83?), and even though we were front & center (in the pit) - RAH is small enough that all the seats are good.
i wanted a seat this time because i don't wanna stand-up the whole time. we're close enough that we can stand & jump up & down for the good stuff and sit when my old ass needs to.

Filthy - I plan to bid on seats Block G1 Row 4 which would be right next to the stage. But I read if you are sat literally right next to it you are looking behind the band - is this true cos I don't want this if this is the case?

Re: Who got tickets for The Royal Albert Hall?
March 14 2006, 7:48 PM
hmmmm...
i think it depends on how much of the stage the band fills up with their speakers & gear. it might be good, if they use most of the stage. hopefully, they won't stack their speakers so high that the ppl on the sides can't see over them(?) :/
our seats are in the middle of stall O section, so i think we're gonna have a pretty good simon-side view(?)... i feel good about where we'll be.
i see where a lot of ppl have bought chorus, which IS directly behind the stage. that seems like it would be a weird view, but who knows.

you know i've found over the years sitting in different spots, behind the stage, beside the stage etc. you have a different perspective but the sound is shit! for instance at u2's show in nov. we sat right beside the stage near edge. we had an awesome view of the band mates, equipment etc. we completely missed out on the light show and couldn't hear adam's bass at all!
hope my perspective helped...good luck and god you all farts have a good time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah i think the chorus seats will be shite personally and wouldnt waste my money. I have found some Block M tickets which are situated in the RAH stands here....
so they are pretty close to the stage I just need to know the row (between 1 and 11) or is this that necessary, which I have messaged to the guy selling. Why is it on ebay they won't tell you the exact seat numbers, they say its cos of security and potential taots that they don't but I can't understand this.
Anyway I wanna go I wanna go so much! The excitement is all too much to bear!
this is where blackcat and i will be sitting (or standing)(or jumping up & down)

Dear ANONYMUS,
Thank YOU & FUCK OFF.
You could suck all guys.
Ciao ciao Stefy.
yeah I think that it's a good idea. But since I'm on a budget I'll just play stuff on my normal ones. I gotta get a universal power adapter..And I'm gonna get a new phone that'll work overseas. My stress level has been going down notch by notch. Now I just can't wait to go.
We are going to keep on hunting for seats that are closer. Hopefully they will be released before we go.

What do you think The Cure will open with? I would cream my pants if it was Plainsong - imagine how it would sound in the Albert!
Hmm maybe we can just rent a bus or something ahhaahaha !! That way we can all drive down from one show to the next...

What do you think they will open with? Will it be Plainsong? Please!
Stefy (no login)
Would someone to take me the ticket?
March 23 2006, 12:10 PM
Dear,
you're lucky, I, today 23 march at 12.51 ant-meridian (a lunch-time), I hadn't found this ticket, is there someone (sweety) that could to buy for me? & we'll meet at R. A. Hall and I also pay him his, I swear it.
Thank you, I dissuade Cadmen zone, you could choose Kensington, its very better! The Rembrant Hotel, Kensington Close, Westbury Kensington, they're just behind at the Royal Albert Hall, that is a very beautiful zone.
Midnight I'm not worry, I was been sarcastic as you did, becaus the salt is in the mineral materials.
THAK YOU HELP a sad unlucky and grown foolish woman.
See you Stefy.

"What do you think they will open with? Will it be Plainsong? Please!"[Jonno]
I'd love it if they played Plainsong first...what a great opening song!! But I think those who have been to more concerts, may prefer them to open with a different track for a change.
