as for me...i see this picture and i think...robert looks weird/unique, simon usually looks way young, but here you can see him older. and there's just an "old" feel to this photo.

i love the cure and i don't want to think that they're getting old or that they're time is almost up as a band.

but when i see pictures like this...i dunno.

Yeah it does but they all seem pretty somber too. Looks like that was the "look" the photographer wanted. And the angle makes their faces longer...

It is different from their other photos, but I think this is the best picture I've seen of Robert in a long time... I don't mind that he's trying something new with his hair; I think it looks alright, myself. Where did this picture come from? I've never seen it before!

I kinda like it, I think Robert is trying to still have his hair cool, but just a tad different. Ageism is not cool we all get old. I loved Robert when he was young and now.

I agree with the head placement. I really dont mind this pic but Robert and Porl's head are kinda down and makes them loose their neck. The Photographer should have really taken note of that...Jason and Simon look alright though. Except for the head thing I like it...age and all! Robert looks healthy for once! (well since he's put on a bit of weight anyways)

one reason why i love madonna so much is that she can easily change her look without giving a rats ass about what people think. that just kicks ass. cuz honestly it doen't matter what people think as long as you are happy, and if this new look makes Robert happy then alright!! i'll be cheering him on!

I'm sure when Robert cut his hair short there were LOTS of people who were dissapointed and thought it looks awfull, one guy even killed himself over it. how stupid is that?!

If you're talking about the Porno tour (think IN ORANGE) the fan stabbed himself on the stage, and if memory serves, he didn't die. I don't remember why he did it (hair or girlfriend - both are equally stupid reasons) but I do remember it was devastating for Robert.

It was also reason #1200 why I should stop listening to those guys, according to my parents at the time.
