Ciao Amy,
thank you!
It's not easy studying a new language, English is similar at Italian (they're both almost of Latin descent, I know), but the problem is that English is speedy language as explanation & often changes his forms, italian has a lots of expressive particular forms, the italian people are the more diffuse, so in the end I speak English while I'm thinking in italian & I traslate.
This is uncorrect!
I don't understandig HOW & WHY You have:
some: one/body/thing
any: one/body/thing
no: one/body/thing
against I don't understant the different of:
must, have to & cannot (but this is the descent idiomatic)
The tag/questions/answers:
You are italian, aren't you? UK
You are italian, wright? USA
WHY?
And WHY: to have isn't more a modal verb?!?!It is a great confusion for me because I studied as to have as modal, there are some examples for my WRONG English & I hadn't talk about the meanig of verbs.
We have a milion verbs, you have a lot of verbs that change the meaning with the prepositions, to get, I'm going to mad with to get & other either.
CIAO soo long Stefy.

Lei capisce inglesi?
Hell, I don't understand English Stefy and it is my native tongue!
I took Spanish in highschool and college and I'm finding that Spanish
and Italian are very similar. Your syntax is different. I think the syntax of every other language is the same and English is the odd one out.
I'm desperately trying to learn Italian so maybe you and I need to talk!
The English language is very strange and British English and American English are very very different. Different words for different objects, and I totally understand what you mean about changing your expression to take on a different meaning with the same words in Italian.
I suoi inglesi rotti è migliori di il mio italiano macellato, me fida di! |

Hola Jupiter.
Como estas? El espagnol està distinto del italiano. The British english is a few different from American english. But I'm really thank you about your nice friendly.
Cupido! (Jupiter)
A proposito i traduttori delle lingue non sono molto affidabili, spero che tu mi capisca. Se vuoi ti scrivo volentieri così fai pratica.
Did you use the question tag? Is it just diferent your than British? I'll probably understand it never and ever....
Where did you were born, in UK? Then, when had your parent gone to America?
Sei nato in UK e poi i tuoi sono andati in America?
Kisses, baci ciao ciao Stefy.

Steffy, I was born and raised in America. My family have been here atleast 200 years. They came here from Ireland and England in the 1700's.
I have been to the UK on holiday before though so I know the differences between our common language.
I'm going to Italy next summer and I like to atleast make an effort to speak your beautiful language. I need all the practice I can get.
per quanto tempo averla gli inglesi parlati
ciao! |

It was been very fun, I was a teen-ager... Mhhh I think I am old than you.
If I were you I would visit Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence... But you must go in Sardegna (my fater was born in Cagliari, I have my parents there),in summer, or Sicily, we have a wonderful sea, it isn't the ocean and we can swim.
Maybe you will come to Venice I will probably make you a tourist guide, I live in Padua.

Ciao,
in Venice every places have got a historic-builds, churchs, museums, art gallerys, It is on the sea "Laguna" Its name, the ways in Venice is "Calli" at singular "Calle" you look Ca', the others ways is "Rii" the sea, you could to visit on feet. I told The Gugghenhaim museum, "Piazza San marco" ("Palazzo Ducale" there was the Venice's Doge' home when It was a Repubblica Marinara on 1.400, near here there is "Ponte dei Sospiri" the Breath's Gate, This places are sign in all corner's city, there is "Florian bar" a caracteristic bar in opposit of S.Marco's Chuch (a coffe buys 10€, but It's a beautiful bar). In Florence you should visit "Santa Maria Novella" "Il Campanile di Giotto" do you know Giotto? At Padua, near Venice, there is "Cappella degli Scrovegni" by Giotto, It's a smaller chapel than "Cappella Sistina" by Michelangelo at Rome & in Florence the Garden's Boboli are very good, and a lot of turistic-places as "Uffizi" is a museum gallery in Place's Pitti, Old Palace, the Palace Pitti where the fashion makes "pret-a-portere", near, in the Place's Pitti here is The David by Michelangelo is the most famous sculpture in the art-story, I mind, after the sculpture of Medusa & Perseo, near Florence there is Pisa, you must go to visit "Piazza dei Miracoli" (The Place of Miracles) is wonderful, do you know la Torre di Pisa (It's the most famous Tower in Italy), il Battistero.... Pisa is 50 km to Florence. Siena is 130 km to Florence, It has the "Piazza del Campo" we play every swmmer a "Palio di Siena", a competition the horse race by Contrade of Siena. In Rome is really visit everything, The Colosseum, The Fori Romani, San Pietro, Castel Sant'Angelo, Sistina's Chapel, L'Ara Pacis (Altare della Patria) is the monument's of Milite Ignoto, Il Vaticano (The vatican State) is the "Papa's House" & some places could see, I mean that you really have various possibility to choose. But don't go in a touristic hotel & restaurant, attenction at false pubblic car (the yellow car with the writin taxi, I know in American don't say taxi as in English) & the most important point of view of mine is: WE DON'T KNOW ANOTHER LANGAGE A PART OF THE OURS, Italian, yes, we are a stupid People. I gotta get away now, I wrote a lots, too really, I hope you could understand me.
BY by ciao ciao Stefy. |
