So finally I am getting my surgery. It took a long time to get it scheduled. I am going to take 6-8 weeks off working and 5 weeks off of graphic design school. I've never had this much time off! But I won't be able to type very much or very quickly with my arm in a sling!!!

I am probably not going to sit around. We'll see where life takes me!!

are you crazy? have you taken leave of your senses? well, good luck with that, too.
in our area, the local colleges offer really good course packages. you can learn, like 2 or 3 graphic softwares per semester, used by the industry. Plus, even if you are already in the business, it's a lot of fun learning all of the uses for the stuff you work with. and the ppl there are usually cool to hang with for a few hrs a week.

GOOD LUCK!!! i had surgery on my wrist once and it ended being better in the long run. remember to take care and take everything slowly!!!

Thanmks! I have fake vicodin and alleve for the pain. My arm is in a soft cast and a sling. The pain isnt that bad. I was out in 3 hours. Then I just slept all day. All you good wishes reaaly helped!!! My Aunt just told me I type very well one handed-HaHa! See ya guys later...
