i did the demand part, but where it says "stick it" and you copy & post the code, across the top of my edit screen was "identifiable information warning" so i took the banner out and it went away. wtf is up with that?

I'm pretty certian they'll play Chicago with out needing to be ordered to. If not, oh well.

if they haven't played japan in years, even with that giant petition asking them to, what makes you think ROGERT O'SMITH will take some silly website into account? maybe he's measuring the emo count (like a virus count, for you science-minded types) before deciding where to tour.

Why not sign? It's not going to kill me to add my name to the list. If The Cure come anywhere near, I'm going anyway, but if they come here again, it'll be so much easier to find much better seats than what I've been dealing with lately.

i think the bloke who runs the bands myspace must have caught on to all the bulletins or something as now the bands official space is promoting this.

I think The Cure have a pretty good idea where their fans are. But this Demand site was probably created by someone in the music business. Smart Bastard too!!! Because it probably doesn't effect touring very much but record companies probably have to pay to set up a band's page. It's a way of creating a "prosperous" schedule for a tour. But honestly it doesn't mean very much. Just because a bunch of fans like us sit on our asses and sign a petition doesn't mean we will buy tickets...

at least people in la/chicago etc are pretty much garanteed a show or two. if they only play london here in the uk im screwed, and the bands hardly the most stable - i would be crushed if i never get the chance.
